Rush is getting back into the beer game with a brand new brew called Xanabrew. The title and label for the beer are references to Rush‘s 1977 album A Farewell to Kings and song “Xanadu”, while the beer itself is out this June. Pre-orders are available here in the United States and here in Canada.
“Xanabrew is a Belgian Golden Strong Ale brewed with Freeze-Dried Honeydew Melon, Huell Melon Hops & Niagara Riesling Juice,” explains Rush. “Complex & delicate with notes of apple, pear, stone fruit, honey dew, citrus, and spice (sage, cracked black pepper). This beer finishes dry, which allows the esters and phenolic characters to take centre stage.”
